Easy Peasy Homemade Play Dough

I wish I could sit here and tell you I am the super fun, crafty mom but crafts and I do not get along well. However I did find something that is fun to do with the kids to make one of their favorite play time goodies. All young kids/ toddlers love Play Dough!
This recipe using ingredients you likely have at home already and although messy it's super easy to it will keep your little one busy for a few.
What you will need:
1 Cup Baking Flour
2 TBS Cooking Oil (we use Olive Oil)
2 TBS Salt
1 Cup Warm Water
3/4 Jell-o Mix

Mix all your ingredients together, you can do this in a medium sauce pan but we use our mixing bowl so the little ones can have fun mixing it by themselves. Letting your children help may cause a bigger mess but trust me seeing them have fun is worth it. Once everything is nicely mixed warm up your play dough goop on the stove, put on medium to low heat, thoroughly stir the mix, you will begin to see it start to clump up. Once your play dough is formed into 1 clump without any liquid place your play dough on a cutting board covered with flour. Let sit 15-20 minutes. LET THEM ENJOY!
Store your homemade play dough in a zip lock container in the fridge, if you notice it starts to get watery just add a little bit of flour. Your homemade play dough should last 1-2 weeks.
