I scream for Ausky, the ultimate foundation applicator

Let me just start off being 100 percent honest here, I don't know much about make up and I am not that great at sculpting my face to look flawless. Now that thats out there I can tell you I do know the basics like applying foundation and the importance of finding the right foundation applicator.

Trying to be like the make up artist YouTube stars I have bought my share of fancy makeup brushes and sponges simply because I've heard "OMG this is the best foundation brush and everyone should own it", too many dollars to count later I lost hope of finding one that held up to the statements.

Until now... Meet Ausky
I know what you are thinking at this point, those are not foundation brushes... Well they aren't, in fact they are a sponge like foundation applicator. I say sponge like because these aren't your typical sponge applicators, they aren't the ones that soak up all your foundation before you applied it all over your face, thanks to these Ausky makeup applicators a little foundation can go a long ways. Instead of pulling your skin every which way on your face, you won't be pulling the sponge across your face to get smooth, clear complexion, you will dab these Ausky sponges. The dabbing motion will help get the foundation in places you want it without damning your skin (we all know what they say when you drag makeup across your skin, that this causes wrinkles).

What won me over!
These beauties are reusable! That's right use your Ausky sponges over and over again without them falling apart while you apply your makeup. The only thing you need to do to keep these "sponges" in top shape to do their job is give them a good wash every few days to clean off the old makeup.

My wash routine:
Once its time for my sponges to get their beauty bath I like to go a little beyond the warm water and soap routine that many like to go by. Try filling a cup with warm water and add a few drops of tea tree oil (2-3 should do the trick), and let your sponges sit for a few minutes. The Tea Tree oil will kill any bacteria that may be on your foundation applicators. After I let them sit for a few minutes I wash them off with just plain warm water, I may even rub my fingers across the sponge to to ensure all the old foundation has been washed off.

If you aren't convinced you need these Ausky sponges then you may want to check out the price. Get both the standard sponge and the one on the makeup stick for just $10.59 on Amazon

What a great read! I need to go and get some of these now. I usually get the ones that you throw away from the dollar store, but I might be giving these a try! Thanks.

I don't wear makeup, so I had no idea this was even a thing. I thought people just used their fingers.

Thanks for the great tips. I need to buy one of these. I have a sponge applicator and I think it absorbs too much foundation.

These look so cool! I know some people that use brushes or sponges. I use a brush and it works well. I'm always up to trying something new for a nice smoother finish.

I haven't worn foundation since I've been a mom. I used to wear it often when I was working. I'd definitely give these a try.
