#FluffBum in Lil Bums Cloth Diapers

It's no secret we are getting obsessed with cloth diapers and this means we are still hunting for great affordable cloth diapers. Anyone who cloth diapers knows how addicting it is to buy new cloth diapers and if you don't yet but start you will quickly acquire this addiction.

We welcome Lil Bums Cloth Diapers into our collection and a few more will be joining us shortly.
Cloth diapering doesn't have to be expensive, you don't need a diaper that cost $40,(I don't know about you but if I paid for $40 diaper it better wash itself) and Lil Bums proves just that. Lil Bums, although cheap in price are not cheap in quality and totally give off the ultimate cuteness factor.

I will let the pictures do the talking when it comes to cuteness

Lil Bum Cloth Diapers are very affordable and only cost $12.99 per diaper. They include not 1 but 2 inserts, one microfiber insert & one organically grown bamboo cotton insert.

There adorable cloth diapers come in OS meaning One Size. If you cloth diaper you already know what this means but incase you don't it means these diapers should last you your entire diaper journey. If you look at the snaps you will see 3 rows, the bottom row would make this diaper the smallest it will go which is diaper sizes is a 1, 2nd row would give you a size 2 diaper & the 3rd row is a size 3-4. The very top snaps would adjust the tightness right under that baby belly.

These Lil Bum cloth diapers fit Gwendolyn perfectly at 3 months and weighing 12 lbs, now that she has a little chunk on her legs we are able to wear them without risking a loose fit and leaking. OS diapers tend to run a little big on newborns so I would suggest waiting until baby is in a size 1 diaper to give these cloth diapers a try.

About the Diaper:
Lil Bums one size cloth diapers are the softest cloth diapers on the market. Made with a luxuriously soft minky fabric that’s not only incredibly smooth, but extremely durable and stain resistant. This will keep your diapers looking as good as the day you bought them for years to come.

We did prep our Lil Bums cloth diapers before our first use with three washes in warm water & detergent. To help increase absorbency, Lil Bums states that these cloth diapers will reach their full absorbency around 10 washes.

Lil Bums Cloth Diapers are washer safe, we just throw them in with all our other dirty diapers & do two washes. First wash is with cold water & Oxy Clean (yes you can use Oxy Clean on cloth diapers) to get anything that could possibly stain the white inserts, 2nd cycle in warm & regular cloth diaper detergent. We do not put our cloth diapers in the dryer so we lay them out to dry.

Why Cloth Diapers?
By Cloth diapering you are saving thousands & thousands of disposable diapers from going to the landfill. Essentially cloth diapers are for those looking to go green.
Better for the bum, I can not tell you how many stories I've read about diaper recalls due to chemical burns. I've never heard of a cloth diaper recall, have you?

Money Aspect:
Lil Bums suggests 24 diapers for 1-2 days, if you wash your diapers every other day you should buy around 48 diapers total for the duration that your little one is in diapers. Lets do the math 48 Cloth Diapers at $12.99 is around $624 if you buy individual diapers. (Lil Bums Cloth Diapers do offer bundle packs that give you a great discount on 6, 12 or 18 diapers). Even with extra diapers you are looking at under $1,000 the entire time your little one is in diapers.

I know these seems like a lot of money to put out all at once just but lets look at long run

Lil Bums Cloth Diapers are definitely for the earth and economically conscious momma who is going natural with her baby.I would highly suggest these diapers to any mom who is even just looking to give cloth diapering a shot.

These are so cute. I love the designs, and I know the minky fabric probably feels great on our babies.

I love reading reviews on cloth diapers! We recently started cloth after spending over $100 a month on sposies for 2 kids. We'll never go back!
