Let the imagination roll with PlayTape

Kids never seem to want to play with their toys in their toy room. That's certainly the case with my 5 year old son. They have their train tables and car tracks but the living room seems to be the perfect play room. Playtape by InRoad Toys allows your kids to make roads and train tracks anywhere in the house and makes clean up time easy.

We got the road print Playtape for my son to use on Meme's floor when he plays with his cars. With PlayTape your child can turn even the plainest surface and turn it into a fun little track.

Anytime my son wants to ditch the train/car table and turn the living room into the ultimate race track he can easily do it with his new road printed PlayTape. He can use his imagination to create any track he can think of.

When it's time for clean up all he has to do is pull up the tape from the floor and throw it in the trash. No more tracks all over the floor, or taking up space in the toy box.

I wanted to wait till August to give the Road PlayTape by InRoad Toys to my son for his 6th birthday but I just couldn't hold back the surprise. When I first told my son he was getting PlayTape he was taken back a little bit but in a good way. "What do you mean mom? I can put the tape anywhere I want & it won't ruin it and won't make a mess? I can even put it on Meme's table?!?" He was so excited that he didn't have to bring out all his tracks into the room he wanted to play in & he didn't have to clean up a big mess when he was done. Who knew that "tape" could make a little boy so happy.
My son also found another great way to use his road print PlayTape, he decided this would be a great way to teach himself how to go in a straight line on his bike. He took some of the road tape & stuck it to the ground & used it to teach himself to stay balanced and ride in a straight line. He told me this makes him focus more on the "road". Even my 5 year old can find additional uses for PlayTape.
It looks like PlayTape will be on our Christmas list this year, he now wants the train track tape.

wow! I need to find some of this for my daughter, she likes to put her favorite animals into cars and buses and drive them on the floor because it has 'lanes' (it's the new real wood laminate look a like) and it drives me crazy... I bet she'd play in her room, on the carpet with some of this :)
