A fun filled day at Build A Bear- Our Smiley360 Mission

If you have children it's very likely you've found yourself in a Bear A Bear store at least once or twice, or if your kids are like mine you have to stop in every time you are at our local mall just to say hello. For special occasions my 5 year old son and 2.5 year old daughter get to build their own furry friends. My son built his very first bear when he was 2 right before his sister was born and hes been hooked ever since.

Build-A-Bear has always been an experience for all of us to remember every time we go bring alive our furry friends.  Every step is enjoyable for the kids, from picking out their bears to giving them a bath after they're all fluffed up and ready to cuddle, Build-A-Bear offers a one of kind experience for all kids.

During our visit Keat and Mel had a blast, the moment we walked into the Altamonte Florida location we were greeted with genuine smiles and by name (we've been there enough times), my son has a broken arm at the moment and every one working asked to sign his cast and drew characters on it including batman and paw prints. This brought the biggest smile to his face. Once the kids discovered we were there to make our friends they were over come with joy, my daughter (age 2.5) couldn't contain herself. We first started by picking out our bears Keat picked Captain America and Mel chose AppleJack from My Little Pony, this did not take very long and seemed like they had been planning out who they would pick for some time. It was then time for us to head over to what I call the fluff machine where our bears were filled up just to our liking.  Our last step and best step was bringing our furry friends to life with hearts, the process is one to always remember, they have the kids rub the hearts on their cheeks so their bears are always happy, on their lips so their full of kisses, on their heart so they are always loved, and on their heads so their always fluffy.  Before we left our bears needed a bath, so we took them to the the washing station for bath time.

During our visit we brought Mr. Mouse in for surgery and he was all better before we left. Our experience brought smiles to all our faces including this momma's, seeing the kids faces light up with joy made it a trip I will want to continue making. Over all we will be another trip to Build-A-Bear soon when I tell the kids that they will be having a brother or sister and we will all make baby his/her first furry friend.
